お正月に思ったことを下記に少し。
「絵を描くようになると、世界が変わる。例えば美しく赤い葉っぱを描くと、踏みしめていた落ち葉の一期一会の美しさに気が付いて持ち帰るようになる。そのうち下ばかり見て歩き始める。そして葉っぱのように、色んな人間がいる事に気がつく。色んな考え方があるんだなぁと思うようになる。絵を描くことはそういう事に気がつくための方法の一つなのではないかなと思っている。」

今年は毎日一枚何かしら描こうと苺（あまおう）を描きました。苺は描くのが難しい。
そして、ページをめくる。試し押しさせてと「ビバ」ハンコがひとつ押されたのは知っていたが、誰だ！新春ビンゴ大会で手に入れた「オレ」を連打した人は！
この絵を将来、手に入れた方はもれなくオレオレビバも手に入ります。
オレ！は賛辞や励ましの意味。ビバは「万歳！生きろ！長生きしますように」といった喜びを表す言葉だそうです。良いことありそう。

Happy New Year.
I wish all of you a happy and wonderful year ahead.Thank you for your continued support this year as well.Here are a few thoughts I had during the New Year holidays.
"When you start drawing, the world changes.For example, when you draw a beautifully red leaf, you begin to notice the once-in-a-lifetime beauty of the fallen leaves you used to step on without a thought—and you end up taking one home. Before you know it, you start walking while looking down at the ground. And just like leaves, you realize there are many different kinds of people. You begin to think, everyone has their own way of seeing things.I feel that drawing is one way to become aware of these things."

This year, I decided to draw something every single day, and I started by drawing a strawberry (Amaou).Strawberries are difficult to draw.
Then I turned the page.
I knew someone had stamped "VIVA" once, saying, "Let me test it," but who was it that repeatedly stamped "ORE," the stamp I won at the New Year's bingo game?!
Whoever acquires this drawing in the future will also receive an "Ore Ore Viva" along with it."ORE!" is meant as praise and encouragement."Viva" is said to be a word that expresses joy—"Hooray! Live! May you live long!"
Sounds like something good might happen.

To everyone who came to see it, those who wrote me letters sharing their thoughts on the paintings, everyone who placed a bid, and the newspaper staff who invited me to take part in this exhibition. To those who framed the artworks, the department store that provided the venue, everyone involved in the planning, setup, and display, my family who quietly gave me space while I was creating, and my relatives and close friends who continue to support me. And to everyone who visited my page here on SNS.
When I think about how these three paintings were created and displayed thanks to so many people and so many small miracles, my heart feels gently warmed. Thank you, truly.

10年ほど前、新幹線に乗っていた時ふと、何の前触れもなく「絵描きとして社会の役に立つのだ！」と思い立ちました。美大を卒業してからも休むことなく制作活動はしていましたが、この気持ちはそれまでにない感覚で、まるで未来の自分からの伝言のようでした。
それから時間が経ち、今回のチャリティ展は2回目の出品。先日の第109回二科展では遂に、新会員として初めて審査側の一員となりました。
これからも絵でお役に立てることが出来るよう、一生懸命に頑張ります。

About ten years ago, while riding the Shinkansen, a sudden thought came to me out of nowhere:
"I want to contribute to society through my art."
I had been creating continuously since graduating from art school, but this feeling was different—almost like a message from my future self.
Time has passed, and this charity exhibition marks my second time participating. At the recent 109th Nika Art Exhibition, I was honored to join the judging panel for the first time as a newly appointed member.
I will continue to do my best to be of help through my art.

🎨第109回二科展 終了
昨日無事に搬出まで終わりました。
ご来場下さった皆さま、遠くから応援下さった方々、応援のメールを下さった方、ありがとうございました！この1週間は殆ど秋晴れの、雲一つない 青い空のもと、美しい紅葉の中開催でした。また来年も観に来てください。（チケット欲しいよ、という方は展覧会が近づいたら送り先をインスタにでもください）
お客さまと お話する中で気がつくこともあり、学びの日々でした。次の個展を聞いてくださる方もいて腕まくりです。がんばらねば。
今年最後の展示は、京都の高島屋にて京都新聞社さん主催のチャリティ展出品です。

本日最終日です。お昼ごろからうろうろしています。私の赤い絵の前で立ち止まって下さっている方にお声をかけたりお土産にポストカードをお渡ししたり楽しくさせて頂いています。（昨日渡せなかった方々ざんねん）目の前で見るとわかる小さな生きもの達を見てニコニコしてもらえるのが嬉しい。ふっと微笑んで貰えるような、美しく優しい絵を目指しています。
今年もまたお誘い頂き12月のチャリティー美術作品展（京都新聞主催at高島屋）に参加させて頂きます。ただいま最後の仕上げ、新作です。ハート型のキャンバスともう一枚。小さくても時間は随分とかけていて、一度出来上がったと思っていても壁に飾り、一日経ってからまだ描けるところはないかと絵を前に何度も考えています。飾られる環境によっても色は変わるので、蛍光灯や暖色の灯りに照らされた壁を想像しながら描いていきます。本当に時間がかかる。何が正解かわからなくなる。そして、はたと「色や形だけではない、もっと深い大切なものを絵の中にいれなきゃ」と思うのです。
花の中には蝶々と蝶トンボ。トンボといえば、先日とんぼ玉作りを経験したところ。トンボにはなんともいえない魅力を感じる。

🎨Charity Art Exhibition
I'm truly honored to be invited once again to participate in the December Charity Art Exhibition, hosted by Kyoto Shimbun at Takashimaya. I'm currently putting the finishing touches on my new works: a heart-shaped canvas and another piece. Even though they're small, I spend a great deal of time on them. Even after thinking a piece is complete, I hang it on the wall and, after a day, I find myself studying it again, wondering if there's still something I can improve.
The colors change depending on the lighting, so I often imagine how the piece will look under fluorescent lights or warm, soft lighting as I work. It truly takes time—and sometimes I feel unsure of what the "right" choice is. Then it hits me: "It's not just about color and form; I need to put something deeper, something truly meaningful, into the painting."
In the flowers, you'll find butterflies and dragonflies. Speaking of dragonflies, I recently had the chance to try making glass dragonfly beads. There's something about dragonflies that I find endlessly fascinating.
🔻43rd Kyoto Shimbun Charity Art Exhibition
The artists donate their works, which are then auctioned off to the highest bidders. Proceeds go to children's programs and various welfare initiatives. It brings me great joy to know that my art can play a part in supporting these causes.

始まりました！
二科会、会員としての初めての出品です。
タイトルは《うつくしいもの》
150号サイズ（181.8×227.3cm）の赤い絵、一階11室に飾られています。
彫刻部展示奥、チャリティコーナーにも額入りの小さな絵を出品、ポストカードもあります。
館内の展示案内図は会場内のQRコードにて確認できます。（裏技、二科会HPにあるチラシを印刷して持っていくと少し割引もあります☺️）

3泊4日で東京での審査会に初参加し帰宅、展覧会前日に飾り付け。初めてのことだらけでしたが、学びおおき日々でした。そして意外と自分は体力があるのだなぁと実感しているところです。何十年も描いてきたので、絵描きとしての気力と体力が日々の訓練？によって培われたのかもしれぬと人知れず感動しています。自分が歩く花なのだろうか。
以下詳細です。
秋には京都の京セラ美術館にて展示です。

二科会のインスタに、私の記事を載せて頂きました。ありがとうございます。
一度描いては消し、三度描いても消し、遂に完成が見え始めてきた昨日、思い切ってまた新しい試みをした。もうこの絵、10年くらい描いている気がする。完成するのか、というよりもこの試みを集荷までに描ききれるのかと血の気が引く思いで、何度も俯瞰（幽体離脱）しながら描く朝方。雨が降ったからか今朝は風がやや冷たくて気持ちが良い。雷の音が怖くて足元にやってきた愛犬。この後、座って描く私の足に、ちょっとだけ自分の手を触れながら眠ってしまった。立って描けない。※Instagramに画像あります。
筆洗は受験デッサンの時のようにバケツを使っていたが、今年は水を並べてみた。マメに筆を洗わないと、絵の具の特性上、固まって腰の強い筆になってしまう。そして、花の真ん中に「金箔切り廻し」を、これでもかと重ねて重ねて貼り、メノウ石が先に付いた「メノウ棒」で擦って艶を出す。30ほどある花の金箔を、気がつけば7時間ほどかけてひたすら貼っていた自分の集中力に、我が事ながらおどろき、驚いた。ちょっとだけ引いた。
私は二科会に所属しているのだが、とある尊敬する先生が仰った。「ひとの3倍ないしは10倍の筆を入れて、重力のある絵を描きなさい」その言葉を胸に、透明な心を思い出しながら一生懸命描いている。美術協会に所属する意味を問われる事が多いが、絵を長年(50年とか60年！）研究する絵描きの先生方の後ろ姿を見ることが出来るのは、やはり所属しているからこそ。二科会で共に絵を描き語り合いましょう。私は今年も『歩く花』がんばって描いています。再来月、9月3日より、東京は国立新美術館にて新会員として飾って頂きます。京都、京セラ美術館ではもう少し涼しい季節になってから。150号キャンバス、タイトルは幾つかの候補からどれにするか考え中☺️異次元の中を歩く花ふたりを描いています。
🎨 "Walking Flowers"

I painted, erased, painted again—and erased again. Finally, just yesterday, when I started to see the work taking shape, I took the plunge and tried something new once more. It feels like I've been working on this painting for ten years. Rather than wondering if I can complete it, I feel a chill wondering if I can bring this experiment to life before the pickup deadline. In the early morning, I find myself repeatedly viewing the work from above, almost like an out-of-body experience, as I continue to paint.
Perhaps because it rained, the air this morning was cool and pleasant. My dog, frightened by the sound of thunder, came and curled up at my feet. As I sat down to paint, she gently rested a paw against my leg and fell asleep. That made standing to paint impossible. (There's a picture on Instagram.)
I used to wash my brushes in a bucket, like when preparing for art school exams, but this year, I arranged several containers of water instead. If I don't rinse the brushes often enough, the paint thickens and the brush becomes stiff. In the center of each flower, I've layered and layered sheets of gold leaf—"kirimawashi"—as if saying "enough is never enough," then polished them with an agate burnisher to bring out the shine. I ended up spending about seven hours applying gold leaf to the 30 or so flowers—my own level of focus surprised even me. Honestly, I was a little taken aback.
I belong to the Nika Art Association, and I once heard a respected teacher say, "Put in three to ten times more brushstrokes than others. Paint a work that carries weight." With that in my heart, I try to recall a transparent spirit and paint with all my might. People often ask what it means to be part of an art association, but being able to witness the devotion of veteran artists who have studied painting for 50 or even 60 years—that is possible only because I belong. Let's continue creating and sharing our work together at Nika. I'm doing my best again this year with Walking Flowers.
Starting September 3rd, my work will be exhibited as a new member at the National Art Center, Tokyo. In Kyoto, it will be shown at the Kyocera Museum of Art once the season cools down a bit. The piece is on a 150-size canvas, and I'm still deciding on the final title from a few candidates ☺️. It depicts two flowers walking through another dimension.

ただいま、春季二科展に出展中です。
タイトルは《歩く花と異次元の風景》
下記に制作中の秘話あり

これを描いている時に見た夢が不思議でした。
薄暗い洞窟の中を私は飛んでいるのか泳いでいるのか、地面から浮いた状態で真っ直ぐ進んでいます。
薄暗いのですが、目が慣れると自身の鼻の先くらいに、ゆらゆらと 揺れる何かが見えるのです。よく見ると「ヒレ」のようでした。夢はここまで、目が覚めました。
その事も忘れたある日、気がついたのです。 今回出展している絵の中の魚。尻尾の真後ろを泳いでいる生きものがいるのです。私はどうやらこの生きものの視点からの夢を見ていたらしい。絵画は平面で動きませんが、絵の中にトポンと入り込むと動画となり、動く姿を見る事が出来るのだなぁ、と思った出来事でした。
I am currently exhibiting at the Spring Nika Art Exhibition.
The title of my work is "A Walking Flower and an Otherworldly Landscape."
While I was painting this piece, I had a curious dream.
I was either flying or swimming—it's hard to say—in a dimly lit cave, steadily moving forward.
Although it was dark, as my eyes adjusted, I began to see something wavering just in front of my nose.
Upon closer look, it seemed to be a "fin."
That's where the dream ended—I woke up.
Some time later, I had already forgotten about the dream when I suddenly realized something:
In the painting I submitted, there is a creature swimming directly behind the tail of a fish.
Apparently, the dream I had was from the perspective of that very creature.
Paintings are flat and motionless, but I came to feel that once you step into them—just a little, like a gentle splash—they turn into moving images, and you can witness the scenes within come to life.

京都にて、プレ万博終わりました！
ありがとうございました。観ていただいた方との会話から、作品展示のインスピレーションが生まれたり、思いもかけない方が来てくださったり、なんとTikTokを見て来てくださったり、友人がサプライズで登場！沢山のお知り合いも出来、なんと鶴田一郎先生とスタッフの方に名刺を頂いたり、嬉しいことの連続でした。マグカップのRed Fishデザインは完売しました。また作ります。
休む間もなく、次の作家活動のために制作です。
来月4/18(金)〜5/2（金）まで、東京都美術館にて開催の『春季二科展』に出展いたします。
ただいま制作中、タイトルはやはり《Red Fish》。東京ではまだ展示したことのない、80号サイズの大きな絵です。

The Pre-Expo in Kyoto has ended!
Thank you so much. Through conversations with the viewers, I gained inspiration for my work displays, and unexpectedly, some wonderful people showed up, including someone who came after seeing my TikTok! A friend even made a surprise appearance! I made many new acquaintances, and I was even given business cards by the renowned artist Ichiro Tsuruta and his staff. It's been a series of happy moments.
The Red Fish design on the mugs sold out, but I will make more.
Without a moment's rest, I'm now working on my next artistic project.
I will be exhibiting at the Spring Nika Exhibition at the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum from April 18th (Fri) to May 2nd (Fri).
I'm currently working on a new piece titled Red Fish. It will be an 80-size painting that has never been shown in Tokyo before!

3月9日プレ万博（京都市国際交流会館）に参加します。《RedFish》《優しい心》2枚の絵を展示。RedFishは思い入れのある絵です。これからこの絵を旅させてあげたいなぁと考え中。
画像のポスターは京都市の地下鉄全線に貼ってあるそうです。
優しい心は、今回縦バージョンにして。縦横どちらでも飾れるのがこの絵の良いところ。そして、Red FishのA5大判ポストカードを作りました。これにいつもの鶴亀の折り紙（絵の具で絵付け）をセットしたものを入れて限定枚数で出します。けっこう良い出来。鶴亀は「長寿」「めでたさ」の象徴です。良い事がありますように、の祈りを込めて。
かの有名な鶴田一郎先生（ノエビアのCMでおなじみ）の大きな作品。トークショー＆サイン会あり、勿論わたくしは列に並びます。日本の工芸品の数々、海外からお越しの作家さんの作品、着物の豪華な打ち掛け、このチラシの題字を書かれた書道家さんの作品、銀河鉄道999関連、本屋さんの展示、小説家の方々、そして子ども達の絵。外では世界のフードトラック！最大1万人来客予定だそうです。
一日だけのフェスティバル、確かこの日は晴れます。どうぞ遊びに来てください。

be participating in the Pre-Expo Kyoto on March 9th at the Kyoto International Community House. I will be exhibiting two paintings: Red Fish and Gentle Heart. Red Fish is a painting that holds a special place in my heart, and I'm considering letting it embark on a journey from here.
The poster in the image is displayed throughout Kyoto's subway system.
For this exhibition, Gentle Heart will be presented in a vertical format. One of its great features is that it can be displayed both vertically and horizontally.
I have also created large A5-sized postcards of Red Fish. These will be available in limited numbers as a special set, including my signature origami cranes and turtles, hand-painted with watercolor. Cranes and turtles symbolize longevity and good fortune—a heartfelt wish for happiness.
This event features an incredible lineup, including a large-scale work by the renowned artist Ichiro Tsuruta (famous for NOEVIR's commercials), with a talk show and autograph session—of course, I'll be in line! You'll also find exquisite Japanese crafts, artworks by international artists, luxurious kimono garments, calligraphy by the artist who designed the title on the event flyer, Galaxy Express 999-related exhibits, a bookstore display featuring novelists, and, outside, a variety of international food trucks.
The event expects up to 10,000 visitors and will be a one-day-only festival. The forecast says it will be a sunny day, so please come and enjoy!

本日最終日です😊お時間下記にあります。
京都高島屋にて、オークション展に出品させていただいております。画像右より直径30cm、25cmの丸いキャンバス絵。ダルマピン2本で、その日のうちに壁にかけれます。
タイトルは二科展でもお馴染みの《歩く花》(画面右） そして、《Fragrance》(よい匂いという意味、縁起の良さを込めて）昨日の時点で其々、歩く花に2名、Fragranceに3名の入札があったとのこと。どこかのお家にお嫁入りです。（5名の方が入札された作品はピンクの小さなシールが作品下の札に貼られます）
私も初日に何度も会いに行った作品ひとつに入札させて頂きました。ライバルが沢山ですが、結果を待つ楽しみ、という新しい楽しみ方を知りました。

🎨The 42nd Kyoto Shimbun Charity Art Exhibition
I am honored to participate in the auction exhibition held at Kyoto Takashimaya. I'm presenting two round paintings, one with a diameter of 30 cm and the other 25 cm.
The titles are "Walking Flower" and "Fragrance" .
Dates: December 18 (Wed) to December 23 (Mon), 2024
Hours: 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM (last admission 30 minutes before closing; the final day, December 23, closes at 4:00 PM).
Artists donate their works, and the pieces are "adopted" by the person who places the highest bid during the auction. The proceeds are donated to welfare organizations. There are an incredible 1,000 artworks on display! This is my first time participating, and I hope the proceeds from my pieces will contribute to someone in need.
There are even artworks by famous manga artists. I was amazed to see that a piece by Moto Hagio is being exhibited! I've read "The Heart of Thomas" over and over, always with the cover carefully preserved. I even once wrote a 120,000-word novel and submitted it to a competition judged by Moto Hagio, just hoping she might read it.
The exhibition is held on the 7th floor of Kyoto Takashimaya's Grand Hall, with free admission. Please feel free to come and take a look! ☺️🎄

有名な漫画家さんの絵もあります。ワァ！と思ったのは萩尾望都さんの絵が出品されているということ！「トーマの心臓」はカバーをかけて何度も読んでいます。とある公募展の審査員をされていた萩尾望都さんに、読んで頂けるかもしれないと12万字小説を書いて応募したことも。

"108th Nika Exhibition" 2024/11/26 (Tue) ~ 12/1 (Sun) At the Kyocera Museum of Art in Okazaki, Kyoto I will exhibit two paintings at the 108th Nika Exhibition. This time, my painting won an award! Please come and visit us. The red painting 《Red Fish》 that often appears on Instagram and TikTok will be on display. (This image is part of it) And, 《Kind hearts》 After three years of drawing, I was finally able to see the light of day. "You did a great job," I said to the picture.
Paintings are my precious children.

InstagramやTikTokにもたびたび出てくる画像の赤い絵、タイトル《Red Fish》80号 が飾られます。（こちらの画像は絵の一部）そして、
《優しい心》100号。3年間描き続け遂に、正に、日の目を見ました。「がんばったねぇ君」と絵に話しかけました。
この絵は二科展の画集やネットなどメディアに出ていますが、わたくし的（作者的）に見ると、白色が光って撮られ実物とは違う色味。ぜひ目の前で実物を観て頂けると嬉しいです。どうぞよろしくご高覧くださいませ。
展示の京セラ美術館、目の前には国立近代美術館、直ぐそこには平安神宮の大鳥居。お昼には権太呂のにしん蕎麦、からのスターバックスの珈琲などどうでしょう。スタバの前には美術館別館、その施設のある岡崎公園では、見上げるとカリンの実が鈴鳴り、子ども達が笑顔で走り回っています。
